The NTU Admin Excellence Awards are presented to teams and individuals to recognise their commitment in achieving outstanding administrative and professional performance that contributes to the attainment of the University goals and strategic initiatives.
This year, the Administrative team from Psychological Studies Academic Group (PS AG) was the recipient of one of the four NTU Admin Excellence Merit Awards. The team was selected out of a total of about 100 nominees across the NTU campus. The team members, comprising of Joey Lim, Jaiton Ibrahim, Candy Wu and Nur Salfiny Bte Johan, were recognised for their demonstration of clear people-centeredness and willingness to undertake challenging tasks that required high levels of responsibility and organisational efficiency, as they strongly believe in delivering quality service to both faculty and students. | Read More |
The Administrative team has, through the years, built a culture of collaboration and appreciation of diverse backgrounds and strengths, giving the PS AG its family feel. They have done so by creating multiple opportunities for faculty, administrative and research staff to work together as one, towards the implementation and successful completion of projects. This included a community service visit to the Kreta Ayer Senior Citizen’s Activity Centre involving academic, administrative and research colleagues for an afternoon of games, interaction and singing. The joy of the elderly folks was palpable as faculty and staff interacted, sang and played with them.
Dr Stefanie Chye, Assistant Professor in PS AG said, “As a team, they not only go the extra mile in every operational and administrative matter, they are also the heart and soul of PS AG. They build the department culture, care for and touch every one of our lives in so many ways that I have lost count. Words cannot fully express how much we appreciate all they have done for us and this nomination is only one small way in which we can show our appreciation.”
