Professor John Loughran Appointed The 3rd Dr Ruth Wong Professor In Teacher Education

The Dr Ruth Wong Professorship in Teacher Education aims to enhance the teacher education experience and expertise within NIE and the Singapore teaching fraternity. Professor John Loughran was appointed the 3rd Dr Ruth Wong Professor in Teacher Education. Professor Loughran, who is currently Emeritus Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor with the Faculty of Education at Monash University, delivered his Dr Ruth Wong Lecture entitled “Reimagining Teacher Education in a Post-COVID World” at the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2022 on 30 May.
