NIE Council Chairman and Permanent Secretary (Education) Mr Lai Chung Han, Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean, and NIE Director Professor Christine Goh joined by members of the senior leadership team at NIE.
Mr Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, visited the NIE on 13 May 2022 to learn more about NIE's work in education research, visit the Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC) and meet with staff and students. As then-Minister for Education, SM Teo launched the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP) in 2002. Twenty years on, NIE continues to strengthen its education research efforts, expanding into areas such as early childhood and science of learning to further inform teaching and learning.
