The Educational Research Association of Singapore and the Asia-Pacific Educational Research Association (ERAS-APERA) International Conference 2018 was held at NIE from 12 to 14 November 2018.

The conference, co-hosted by ERAS, APERA and NIE, was the latest instalment of a biennial series of APERA conferences that aims to address the educational challenges typically faced by educators and researchers, and to promote educational research, policymaking and educational practices that benefit our next generation in the new century. | Read More |

Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Manpower, graced the event as the guest of honour. The conference explored the theme, ‘Joy of Learning in a Complex World’ as well as other educational issues of concern in the 21st century. It brought together almost 400 delegates from 23 countries who help to advance research and practice in areas such as understanding the 21st century learners, leading changes, curriculum development and practices, new pedagogies, enhancing learning through assessment, multi-disciplinary learning and innovation, new directions in educational research and teacher education.
