The latest “Education in the City” webinar jointly presented by the Office of Education Research (OER) and National Library Board was held on 13 November 2020. The topic of the webinar was “STEM and Education for the Future”, and discussions were focused on the purposes of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Singapore, and how this could change or improve people’s lives.

Addressing the 128 participants, which included parents, were Associate Professor Tan Aik Ling from the Natural Sciences and Science Education Academic Group, and Dr Michael Tan, OER Research Scientist. Dr Seah Lay Hoon, OER Senior Research Scientist, moderated an enthusiastic question and answer segment between the speakers and the audience. More information on the session here.
