Changing Students

Dr Zachary Walker (ECSE) was recently invited to speak in Finland, Scotland, Slovenia, and Iceland with European School Heads and Principals on the changing landscape of education and meeting the needs of diverse learners. Thought leaders and educators at NET Forum Finland 2017, the Association of Headteachers and Deputes in Scotland, the European School Heads Association, and the Icelandic Teachers Union engaged in lively conversation on innovative pedagogical practice, inclusion, technology, and neuroscientific principles. Dr Walker conducted keynote discussions and workshops with practical tips for teachers and school leaders across age groups and content areas. During his speaking tour, Dr Walker also had the opportunity to engage in discussions with members of Ministries, visit various schools, and discuss research practices.
