The NIE Community celebrated the nation’s 56th birthday on 6 August 2021 via Zoom. Despite it being a virtual event, the NIE community came together to celebrate this important occasion, showing the spirit of One NIE, one Singapore. The celebration brought the NIE Community closer, encouraging everyone to stay strong together despite the prevailing challenges.
The celebrations comprised the Observance Ceremony, National Day Message by Minister for Education, Address by NIE Director, a light workout, two jamming sessions, a mash-up of National Day Parade (NDP) songs and ‘live’ games.
